Pi Architects

Established in 1966, Pi Architects is a multi-discipline design firm dedicated to the all-encompassing design of senior living communities. The specialized team represents a unique blend of expertise in master planning, architecture, landscape architecture and interior design.

With a philosophy based on integrating interior and exterior environments in order to provide a caring and nurturing atmosphere for residents, the partners at Pi Architects believe senior living residents should be empowered to age with the ultimate level of dignity.

The primary goal of Pi is to help organizations establish and meet their financial aspirations by combining budgetary, marketing, operations, and regulatory requirements into an environment that fosters a meaningful purpose for everyone involved. In addition, Pi Architects specializes in campus repositioning, which is their avant-garde response to the ever-evolving demands of the senior housing industry.

Pi Architects areas of expertise include nursing homes, assisted living and independent living facilities, Alzheimer's centers, and continuing care retirement communities (CCRC's). The senior living team at Pi Architects is spearheaded by President Greg Hunteman, AIA. He brings his knowledge of senior housing design and construction to Pivot, as well as his affiliations and contacts within the senior living industry. This involvement includes: SAGE (Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments), THCA (Texas Heath Care Association), TAHSA (Texas Association of Housing and Services for the Aging), AAHSA (American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging), TALA (Texas Assisted Living Association) and ALFA (Assisted Living Federation of America). With working relationships with industry leaders such as Rick Hunsicker Consulting and Moore Diversified Services, Pi Architects is positioned as both an industry leader and significant supporter in the design and construction of senior living communities.
